Website Tools

These are services I use and love. If you take action (i.e. make a purchase) after clicking one of the affiliate links, I may earn some coffee money, which keeps me going to support your journey. You will not pay a higher price, and in some cases, you will even receive a discount.

Hosting & Domain Services

SiteGround has been my go-to for years. Not only do they provide excellent hosting for WordPress websites, I’ve watched the back end evolve into a non-techie, user-friendly dashboard. Their support is top-notch and I can’t recommend SiteGround enough.

Email Services

Google Workspace is what I recommend for all small businesses wanting to look professional as they send and receive emails from clients (hint, you need one!). It’s easy to use, can be accessed from any location or device and sets you up for growth.

Social Media Management

Metricool may not be the first tool to come to mind when thinking of a social media management tool, but I highly recommend checking it out! The free version is full of great features. I utilize the paid version for my business and consider it a marketing investment. Schedule to Facebook, Instagram (and know when your audience is online on those platforms!), Pinterest, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, Google Business Profile, YouTube, and some ad platforms. The metrics are great too! I like that this is all in one and keeps me focused on marketing, not scrolling posts.

WordPress Theme

The backbone for all of the sites I design is ElegantTheme’s Divi Theme Builder. Versatile, easy to use, and full of features, I literally could not build without it!

I’ve used Divi since 2018 and have watched it mature and grow with so many features and settings. It even has an AI integration for those interested!

Form Builder for WordPress

If you need to collect information on your website, an out-of-the-box form builder may not cut it. I’ve tried all of the major plugins and have gone all-in with FluentForms. Its builder is intuitive, the default form styling is a great starting point and in some cases won’t need extra styling.

Divi Helper Plugins

Divi is amazing, but sometimes a project calls for a little more. That’s where PeeAye Creative’s plugins come in. Not only are the free blog posts and tutorials AMAZING if you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves a bit, but the plugins are fantastic to extend the use of Divi. Personally, I’ve been loving Nelson’s Divi Assistant and Search Helper Plugins, but have plans for the Events Calender plugin very soon.
